I’m excited to see what’s new at NAIAS this next week. I wonder what we will have dreamed up for the show.
I’ve been super productive this week – both at work and on my second job, the racing team and planning for the 2018 season.
We are planning on going to Sonoma!
Woo hoo! It was tentative until last week. but, now it’s on the calendar!
In other news, I’m really excited to work with the Mobil 1 team! They’re a great group! Working on designs for the car to incorporate the logo.
I also started working on a couple of additional sponsor relationships. Missed out on one recently because I didn’t realize that they were way more used to being sponsored rather than sponsoring. 🙂 live and learn.
I’m going to need somebody to help me do PR!
random encounter: had lunch out with Will today, he had a choice of Common Grill or any other restaurant – he chose Taco Bell, go figure. This was after a dentist appointment that could have been scary for him but wasn’t – no teeth pulled! Super nice grandfatherly type started chatting with us. He was really kind and outgoing and just wanted somebody to spend lunch with. He reminded me a little of my dad and how well he knows the servers at his favorite lunch places.
Now onto adding the Mobil 1 logo to the suit and getting going on Will’s Kart disassembly.
